Fantasy vs. Reality: The Real Deal
Thanks so much to Tara for sharing her blog with me
today!
Have you ever had a daydream or a fantasy, and wondered
if it would come true? For many years, I fantasized about being a published
author. When I finally had a book accepted, I was over the moon. My dream had
come true. I had arrived!
You'd think someone my age wouldn't be so naïve (read:
dumb). I hadn't thought beyond the milestone of publication. I was only at the
beginning of the journey. There was so much to learn: promotion, social media,
networking, yadda yadda yadda. Plus I needed to keep writing, keep learning my
craft.
I'm a lucky woman. I'm so grateful for everything that's
happened even though I still have a lot to learn. My publishers and fellow
authors have been incredibly supportive. But it was still a bit of surprise to
find the fantasy I had pictured didn't match up to the reality I was
experiencing. Publication is only the first step, and there are many more steps
ahead of me.
There are many kinds of fantasies, including sexual
fantasies. Many straight men (it's said) fantasize about being with two women.
In my recent novella His and Hers and
Hers, Jordan Brougham loves his girlfriend Kyla, but finds he's also
attracted to their friend Cassie. Luckily for him, Kyla's interested in Cassie,
too. But both of them are surprised when an unexpected kiss leads to a night of
amazing sex and afterwards to days of confusion and doubt.
Kyla Denster and Jordan Brougham are
passionately in love. Kyla knows she's lucky to have a guy who uses all his
tricks to keep her happy in and out of bed. Jordan knows he's lucky to have
such a hot, adventurous girlfriend.
But neither of them knows that their
best friend, Cassie DeSantis, wants them both. Cassie's painful past has taught
her not to wear her heart on her sleeve.
She keeps quiet, afraid that revealing her feelings would mean losing
the two people she cares for most.
Things change one night when an impulsive kiss leads to the three of
them spending an incredibly hot night together.
When the couple wants more of Cassie,
she leaps at the chance to be with them. But problems arise at her insistence
that no one mention the L word and when Jordan and Kyla clash over how to deal
with disapproving family. Their triad
relationship will only survive if they all stand together to prove that three
is the perfect number—when all three are in love.
Jordan enjoys being with both women, but discovers that
while the spirit is willing, the flesh doesn't always comply. Being with two
women at once is a hot fantasy, but Jordan discovers the reality is that it's
up to him to satisfy both his ladies. His manly pride is at stake!
Cassie
cuddled beside Kyla, half dozing. Jordan had collapsed on Ky’s other side.
After letting them rest a few minutes, Kyla spoke up. “Hey, don’t forget about
me, stud. You might have gotten off, but I’m still horny.”
Jordan
groaned and gave a small laugh. “You may be out of luck, baby. I think my dick
is broke.”
“You’re
not getting out of it that easy. You’ve still got a tongue, don’t you? Get
busy, buddy.”
“Bossy.”
“Poor
babe, you thought you’d be the center of attention, having two chicks to
yourself. You didn’t think about how much work it would be to satisfy us both.”
Jordan
knelt up and kissed Kyla. “You’re a pain in the ass, you know that?”
“Yeah,
yeah. I’m still waiting.”
He
kissed his way down her body, allowing his lips to linger at the undercurve of
her breast, her round belly. He bypassed the crux of her thighs completely to
nip her kneecap.
“Uh,
excuse me, you’re heading the wrong way,” Ky told him.
“Enjoy
the detour, baby.” He moved farther down and teased the space between her big
toe and second toe with his tongue.
“Tickles.”
She drew her foot away.
Cassie
levered herself up on an elbow. “Is he into feet?”
“News
to me,” Kyla said.
“Hey,
it’s just a little appetizer,” Jordan said.
“Well,
get to the main course.” Kyla spread her thighs wider.
He
kissed his way back up the inside of her leg and nuzzled the crinkly black
curls at the juncture of her thighs. Then his chest expanded as he inhaled
deeply. Cassie watched transfixed as he lowered his face to Kyla’s pussy and
stroked her gently with his tongue.
She
turned to Kyla, whose cheeks were bright pink and lips were plump with arousal.
“Is it good?”
Ky
shifted her ass a bit, let her eyelids fall. “Uh-huh. So good.”
Jordan, Kyla and Cassie all have a lot to think about the
day after their sexual adventure. They indulged their fantasy, and now must
deal with cold hard reality. Will Jordan and Kyla's relationship be changed by
including a third person? Can something lasting develop with Cassie, or is she
just a temporary diversion? And what does Cassie want?
I

I'm hoping for another dream come true, we want another one, but it hasn't been easy. We hope a fertility specialist will make our dreams come true once again. Maybe all these hot books will inspire us and we'll get "lucky " ;0) Have an amazing day!
