Hi everyone--
Most people who visit the blog probably know that my day job is in advertising and PR. Every now and then i like to feature LGBT ads that i think are fun, effective, or both. This first one is charming because it defies the expected and wonderful because it shows the reality of gay families -- just like everyone else.
The second ad is a mini-masterpiece in my opinion. The tagline, "Come as you are" makes me want to go buy McDonald's and i don't eat meat or fast food! (I love the French!) Though now we can all hope the young boy has the guts to come out to his dad. Still, it shows that gay people are our friends, neighbors and our family.
And this one just says it all. : )
Thank you so much for coming by. Join my email list to stay up on all my contests and tours. And i love blog followers. : )

Tara - love the banned mayo ad. It reminds me of when my youngest was about five - I had bought and we were reading a picture book about a boy (with two moms) who had asthma but wanted a puppy. CR pointed to one of the woman:
ReplyDeleteCR: "Is she the dad?"
Me: "No, she's the other mom."
I think that ad is so priceless-- such a slice of life. : )
DeleteI think they are all great but I love the last one best - the way she says "Congratulations Dad" is just so good.
ReplyDeleteMe too. It makes you cry. : )
DeleteI think I watched them all--- so good--- why are US ads such prudes?
ReplyDeleteLove to see more please---maybe So America ads?
Also, why are gay guys always so Hawt?
Yes, in the US we can show violence but not love! I agree on the HAWT part. : )

ReplyDeleteThank you, Michelle. : )
DeleteThese all made me smile. Like, ow-my-face type smile. Have you seen the gay and lesbian KY ads? I believe they're both on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteI have to look for those. Thank you, Poe. : )
